China is one of the countries worst affected by desertification. As the Gobi Desert expands further south - engulfing an average of 3,000 square kilometres every year - entire communities are forced to relocate, becoming climate refugees.

Our France 2 colleagues report, with FRANCE 24's Ellen Gainsford. A programme prepared by Gaëlle Essoo, Laura Burloux and Claire Pryde.
