What is important to you in a PLN? I like to network broadly to continuously challenge and stretch the contexts of my thinking, AND connect specifically with others in K-12 ELL, literacy and professional learning to collaborate in addressing shared challenges.

I can probably find a better source, but this slideshow is a reminder that students who are self-aware of the PLN they are using are more likely to make strategic choices and learn more of what they are interested in. Creating a PLN based on a specific interest or goal would make an excellent independent study. |

Many in our class are not so sure of the value of twitter. This gave me some more insight into PLNing.
Being an introvert, this has always nagged subconsciously. Shouldn't we learn to manage our own knowledge before we learn to share it?
